1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Orif-Trolley, operated by Orifiel Digital, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. The Irish Digital Age of Consent under the Data Protection Act 2018 is 16. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has registered without meeting this requirement, please contact us at cs-support@orif-trolley.com to have the account removed.

3. Use of the Service

Orif-Trolley is a grocery budget-tracking tool for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to reverse-engineer it, use it for any unlawful purpose, or use automated systems, bots, scrapers or scripts to access, collect or interact with any part of the service. Automated access is strictly prohibited.

4. Receipt Data, Prices & Savings

When you scan a receipt, the image is sent to our servers solely to read its text. Receipt images are deleted immediately after processing.

Price data on Orif-Trolley is contributed by the community and is provided for information only. We do not guarantee that prices are current, complete or accurate, and we accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on the information displayed, including, but not limited to, travelling to a store based on a displayed price.

Member and loyalty prices (for example Clubcard or Lidl Plus prices) apply only to members of that scheme.

"Saved" figures are the discounts printed on your scanned receipts. Price comparisons, "cheaper elsewhere" and "could save" figures are estimates, not savings.

5. Receipt Integrity

You must only upload genuine, unaltered receipts. Uploading fraudulent, edited or fabricated receipts is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate account termination. We reserve the right to remove any content we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

6. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. You can delete your account at any time from Settings (see the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes). Accounts that are never verified and hold no data are removed 21 days after sign-up.

If you use the app as a guest, your data stays on your device only, and is lost if you uninstall the app or change device.

7. Household Sharing

When you share a household with other users, they can see the household's shared shopping lists and their notes, budget, savings, receipts and household expenses. Expenses you mark as personal stay visible only to you. Do not share access with people you do not trust.

8. Content You Contribute

You keep any rights you have in the receipts, prices, product names, list text and corrections you add. By adding them, you give Orifiel Digital a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use them, without identifying you, to run and improve the shared price catalogue and the service. This licence continues after you delete your account, for content already in the shared catalogue.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks and software within Orif-Trolley are the property of Orifiel Digital. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the app without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orifiel Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed €50 or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you in the app when material changes are made, and continued use of the service will require fresh acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
